Siesta Key Public Beach Facility InformationSiesta Beach has been ranked as one of the top beaches in the USA for many years. A few years ago, construction began on updates, upgrades and additional parking lots at the main public beach area. It has been a long journey, but the upgraded facilities are now there for you to use!
Two Concession Stands
7 days a week, weather permitting, these concession stands serve food between 10 AM - 5 PM. Coffee service often begins at 9 AM. One of the concession stands is located on the sunset deck (near the volleyball courts and south part of the parking lot. The other concession stand is in the main entrance section on the first floor. Enjoy the convenience of food made fresh for you without leaving the beach!
There are a plenty of public restrooms available at the public beach in most of the buildings. Don't stray too far from the main public beach section if you need to go. There are no other facilities until Siesta Key Village or Crescent Village, miles in each direction.
The Siesta Beach sunset deck is equipped with tables overlooking Siesta Beach for great views, especially for sunset, as well as a concession stand. There are also some restrooms available if the lower level ones are busy. Make sure to get here early if you want a place to sit! Bring your camera!
There is a shop next to the lower level concession stand that has all your beach day essentials, toys & amenities for you! Grab some noodles to float in the calm Gulf of Mexico or a beach chair to relax in the sand. Don't forget the sunscreen!
Learn about the Sea Turtles that frequent the shores of Siesta Key, why we have the best sand anywhere and much more on the informational plaques all around the public beach facilities!
There are plenty of wash off stations available for you to wash off the sand and saltwater! Make sure to rinse off any metal objects that may have come in contact with saltwater as well!
Sarasota County Parks & Recreation Offices
Let them know if you need a wheelchair. They are available for rental.
Sundays just before sunset is when the Siesta Beach Drum Circle takes place every week. Just listen and look for a big circle of people right near the main Siesta Beach pavilion.
The Siesta Beach public parking lot is very large, but often not large enough. We recommend taking a ride sharing service, free taxi or other option on weekends and during season as the lot fills up quickly. You can also park at Turtle Beach or in Siesta Key Village and take the free trolley to Siesta Beach.
The parking lot is open until midnight, but the beach is open 24/7!
Siesta Beach is the #1 beach in the USA and was ranked as the 5th best in the world by TripAdvisor users. Come experience the updated upgraded public beach area!
